Additionally, the fire extinguisher placed in the kitchen area must be inspected by a licensed fire extinguisher company and have a valid tag. Prior to requesting an inspection, please note that all gas appliances must have a safety-only inspection by a qualified technician within the previous year. If you have any questions, please contact the Tarrant County Fire Marshal's Office at 81. Any items that you checked 'No' will need to be corrected or resolved prior to the Fire Marshal's inspection.
